De oefening:

  1. Solo-ritme (1 minuut)

  2. Luisteren & volgen (2 minuten)
Laat iemand anders jouw ritme nadoen.
    Wissel daarna van rol.
Focus niet op perfectie, maar op luisteren.

The exercise:

1. Solo rhythm (1 minute)
Tap a simple rhythm that suits you with the sticks (e.g., tap-tap-tap-pause).
It doesn’t have to be beautiful or fast—it’s all about your rhythm.

2. Listen & Follow (2 minutes)
Have someone else imitate your rhythm.
Then switch roles.
Don’t focus on perfection, but on listening.

3. Creating one rhythm together (2–3 minutes)
Start with two different rhythms.Tap together to find a shared rhythm without talking.Stop as soon as it feels “right.”

4. Reflection (1 minute)
Ask each other one question:”What did you do to achieve the same rhythm?”

Why this works:
• You experience how quickly (or slowly) coordination develops
• It makes collaboration tangible instead of theoretical
• It’s playful, but reveals a lot about communication and flexibility
